Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dracule Mihawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silver Surfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silver Surfer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dracule Mihawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Silver Surfer!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mihawk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Surfer tries to avoid it but Mihawk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Surfer to the ground. Surfer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Surfer leaves Mihawk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Surfer throws a body kick that misses.
Mihawk throws a right hand that Surfer ducks under and follows up with a left that Surfer also avoids with ease.
Surfer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Silver Surfer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Surfer misses with a series of wild punches.

Mihawk turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mihawk shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Surfer tries to kick Mihawk off but Mihawk keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Surfer is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Mihawk jumps into side control!
Surfer is pushing Mihawk's head away, looking to escape. Mihawk manages to hold on to the position though.
Mihawk throws an elbow but Surfer slips to the side and avoids it well.
Surfer is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Mihawk thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Mihawk trying to control the position but Surfer is working away.
Mihawk tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mihawk has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Surfer wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Surfer throws Mihawk to one side and escapes!
Mihawk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mihawk lands in his opponent's guard.
Surfer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mihawk stops Surfer from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mihawk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mihawk loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mihawk won't allow Surfer to sweep him here.
Surfer manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Surfer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Surfer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Surfer wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dracule Mihawk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Surfer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mihawk is breathing heavily.
Surfer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mihawk counters with a single leg into guard. Surfer didn't expect that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Surfer wants to stand up but Mihawk is controlling him.
Surfer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mihawk manages to get himself to full guard.

Surfer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Mihawk is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mihawk has a closed guard, preventing Surfer from standing up.
Surfer passes into half guard.
Surfer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mihawk!
Surfer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mihawk is looking to escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Surfer trying to control but he's not successful this time.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Surfer is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Mihawk is wriggling around trying to escape.
Surfer trying to control but Mihawk is having none of it.
Surfer get's back to his feet.
Mihawk is looking to clinch.
Surfer smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Dracule Mihawk has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Surfer fails to land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silver Surfer dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dracule Mihawk's cut.
That's time! Mihawk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Surfer lands with a kick to the ribs.
Some wild striking there from Surfer.
Surfer drops Mihawk with a beautiful combination! Mihawk stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Surfer is looking for the KO!
Mihawk is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Surfer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Surfer connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Mihawk covering up! Surfer comes in with a big uppercut and Mihawk goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Silver Surfer!
