Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spector Air (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Staton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spector Air has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spector Air! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Staton! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Staton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Staton waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Air. A bone on bone clash there as Air blocks the leg kick.
Staton throws a half hearted mid kick. A telegraphed right hand from Staton misses the target. Staton throws out a token jab with nothing on it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Staton. Staton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Air paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Staton misses the shot to the body. Air misses with a hook. Staton ducked under it nicely. Staton misses with an uppercut. Air saw that one coming. Air swats away the attempt to clinch by Staton. Air really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Staton is looking to chop away at Air's legs. Staton tries to clinch there but Air circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Staton throws a half hearted mid kick. Staton throws a low kick but Air moves out of range easily. Staton attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Air avoids the body shot from Staton.
Air throws a hook to the side of Staton's head but Staton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Spector Air is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Staton moves out of range of the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Staton pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jeremy Staton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Air walks into a straight right hand from Staton. Staton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Air displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Staton throws out the jab. Staton misses the jab. Staton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Staton scores a takedown into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Staton putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Air is desperately trying to improve his position but Staton has a good base and remains in mount. Staton tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Air on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Air tries to get out of the position. Staton with good strikes from the mount here! Staton lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Air hang on?
It looks like Spector Air has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Air is working to get back to half guard.
Staton lands a big elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeremy Staton dominated that round. The cut man is working on Spector Air's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Air checks the leg kick nicely there.
The fighters circling - Air throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Air loads up on a big right hand but Staton slips the punch. Staton feints and then cracks Air's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Air down. Air throws a shot from downtown. Staton moves away and avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Air swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Air checks a leg kick nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Staton misses with a body shot.
Staton looks to score with a jab to the body but Air is just out of range. Staton is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Air tests Staton's chin there with a solid looking shot. Staton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Air checks a leg kick. Staton looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Air!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Staton working the ground and pound effectively.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Staton content just to control the position here. Staton dominating with strikes here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Staton putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Spector Air's cut is getting worse. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Staton cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Spector Air's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Staton working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Jeez, Spector Air's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Spector Air's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jeremy Staton!
