Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Fetch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulo Stevens has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jake Fetch's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Fetch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fetch shoots for a takedown but Stevens saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stevens throws a solid leg kick but Fetch takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stevens.
Horrible takedown by Fetch or perhaps it was just good defense by Stevens which made him look bad.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Fetch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fetch closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stevens to the mat! Stevens manages to get full guard.
Fetch with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Stevens tries to strike from the bottom.
Fetch connects with a couple of short punches.
Fetch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stevens swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stevens can't keep his opponent in guard - Fetch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Stevens wants to control but Fetch is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Still in half guard, Fetch seems content to control.
Fetch throwing shots but Stevens is blocking nicely.

Fetch is trying to control the action in half guard but Stevens is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fetch takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Stevens tries to get to full guard but Fetch has control of the leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jake Fetch wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Stevens tries to sprawl but Fetch drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fetch moves nicely into side control.
Fetch tries for a kimura but Stevens is defending well.
Fetch tries to advance to mount but can't.

Stevens is not content to let Fetch control the position.
Stevens parries the strikes from Fetch easily there. Fetch is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stevens to escape.
Stevens takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Fetch tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stevens wants to control but Fetch postures up.
Fetch in side control, throwing shots but Stevens defends.
Fetch throws a strike aimed at the side of Stevens's head but Stevens avoids it well.
Fetch controls the position from side control.
Fetch lands some shots froms side control.
Stevens trying to remain calm as Fetch controls from the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Fetch dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Stevens tries to clinch up but Fetch circles away and keeps his distance.
Stevens just misses with a punch to the body.
Stevens leaves Fetch with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fetch changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stevens tries to avoid it but Fetch manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stevens to the ground. Stevens escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stevens tries to clinch but Fetch is having none of it.
Stevens fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fetch shoots in looking for a takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl out of it but Fetch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stevens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Fetch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jake Fetch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fetch tries to score with some ground and pound. Stevens controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Sloppy strikes there by Fetch.
Fetch is trying to get an arm triangle but Stevens is defending well.
Fetch scores with a couple of short elbows.
Stevens wants to get back to his feet but Fetch drags him back down.
Fetch in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Fetch has an Americana. Stevens didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Fetch is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Fetch hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jake Fetch!
