Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
StPierre is trying to buck Benson off.
StPierre wants to get back to his feet but Benson is dominant here and he's now got StPierre's back!
StPierre is in a bad position with Benson working for a choke. StPierre manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Well Benson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
