Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown. Jimenez tries to sprawl out of it but Jackson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jimenez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Quinton Jackson has been cut.
Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Jimenez which made him look bad.
Jimenez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mer Jimenez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Jackson.

Jimenez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jackson eats them both and turns towards Jimenez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Mer Jimenez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jackson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jackson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jackson dives in and grabs Jimenez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jimenez pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.

Jackson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jimenez is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jackson.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Jimenez.
Jimenez scores with a one two! Jackson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
A nice leg kick lands there from Jimenez.

Jimenez is pawing at Jackson, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Jackson's nose. Jackson is badly hurt! Jimenez pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Jackson tries desperately to hold on but Jimenez is relentless in his assault! As Jackson receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Jimenez away and this one is in the books!
