Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kokou Dossevi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendricks kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is National anthem of South Africa. Dossevi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Killers" by Motörhead. Kokou Dossevi struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hendricks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dossevi takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Dossevi shoots in for a takedown but Hendricks shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hendricks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dossevi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hendricks as he jumps to the side.

Hendricks drops Dossevi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dossevi looks back up at him and smiles so Hendricks waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Dossevi is still on wobbly legs! Can Hendricks finish him?
Dossevi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ricardo Hendricks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hendricks lands a slapping body shot.
Dossevi seems to have recovered his senses.
A slow jab from Hendricks misses its intended target.
Hendricks tests Dossevi's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hendricks drops Dossevi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dossevi looks back up at him and smiles so Hendricks waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dossevi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hendricks throws out the jab.

Dossevi shoots in looking for a takedown but Hendricks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dossevi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hendricks feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dossevi sprawling to the canvas! Dossevi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hendricks finish him?!
Hendricks looks to land a right hand but Dossevi moved out of range.

Hendricks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hendricks is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dossevi can do to turn this around?

Hendricks takes a swing at Dossevi's ribcage but misses.
Dossevi has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Dossevi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dossevi there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hendricks lands with a right that hurts Dossevi. Dossevi looks to clinch but Hendricks throws a short knee that drops Dossevi. This one is all over!
