The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Batisti takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Batisti is trying to control St Pierre's posture but St Pierre avoids it.

St Pierre looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
St Pierre lands a big shot there that rocks Batisti but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
