Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vick Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Penn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Go To Church. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brian Penn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vick Armstrong!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Penn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Armstrong circles away.

Penn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Penn tries to score with some ground and pound. Armstrong controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Armstrong thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Penn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brian Penn.
Well Penn has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
