Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andre Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hickson jitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jitz is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bishop.
A right-left combo lands from Bishop.
jitz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bishop throws a head kick but jitz moves out of range.
jitz shoots in looking for a takedown but Bishop manages to keep the fight standing, pushing jitz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bishop stuffs the takedown.
Andre Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hickson jitz.
jitz tries for a takedown but Bishop sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bishop slaps away a takedown attempt from jitz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
jitz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

jitz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bishop is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but jitz has just dragged him back down to the mat.

jitz working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bishop is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, jitz asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

jitz swings around for an armbar but Bishop sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into jitz's guard.
Bishop loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
jitz manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bishop wants to get back to his feet.
