Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carter Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman by Metallica. Martinez has chosen ACDC - Are You Ready? as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.
Martinez shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Martinez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Martinez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martinez off to one side.

Johnson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Martinez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Carter Johnson will probably get the nod.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Martinez connects with a nice short shot to Johnson's temple.
