Carson has chosen ruff riders as his entrance music. Chris Carson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Carson!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rafael attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Carson moves out of range as Rafael throws a body kick.
Carson throws a nice looking combination but Rafael bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rafael takes one on the button.
It looks like Leafar Rafael has been cut.
Carson slips a jab and a cross from Rafael.
Carson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carson blocks the body kick.
Carson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rafael throws out a leg kick but Carson moves out of range and Rafael only half commits.
Rafael shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rafael tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Carson is able to avoid easily.
Rafael swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Carson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A punch combination from Rafael misses.
Carson misses with the combination.
Carson lands a head shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carson moves into the clinch successfully.
Carson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Leafar Rafael's cut is getting worse.
Carson throws an elbow that misses.
Carson pushes off an throws an elbow but Rafael leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Rafael tries to break the clinch but Carson is controlling the position.
Rafael wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Carson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Rafael is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rafael is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Carson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Carson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Leafar Rafael's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leafar Rafael's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chris Carson!
