Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaius Marius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payne comes to the cage accompanied by Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Curtis Payne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gaius Marius ! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payne swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marius walks into a straight right hand from Payne. Marius fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Payne manages to avoid it. Payne misses with a body shot
and Payne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Marius wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Payne gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Marius counters with a straight right hand. Marius swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Marius looks to land a left hand but Payne moved out of range nicely. Marius throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Payne sees it coming and avoids it easily. Marius misses with a body shot
and Payne counters with a single leg into guard. Marius didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Payne thows a big elbow that misses. Marius looking for a sweep. Not yet Marius , not yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Marius can do anything to dispel that myth. Marius seems keen to control Payne's posture. Payne pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marius is keeping the position for now. Payne looking to sit in guard and control but Marius gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Marius works over Payne with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Payne looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marius is one step ahead there. Marius is sitting in close to Payne's body. Payne has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Marius is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Marius is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Payne.
