The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sladkov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Savage.
Decent striking displayed by Sladkov there.
No joy there for Sladkov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Savage throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Savage tries to work over Sladkov's front leg with a kick but Sladkov checks it.

Sladkov cracks Savage with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sladkov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Savage to stand back up!

It looks like Roy Savage has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Savage shoots in but Sladkov avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Roy Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage throws the left hand but Sladkov avoids the punch easily.
Sladkov fails to land with a series of punches.
Savage shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sladkov pinned against the cage. Sladkov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Oleg Sladkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Savage.
Savage dodges the punch combination from Sladkov.
Savage throws a hook but Sladkov blocks it.
Savage pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sladkov back to the cage. Savage follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Sladkov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Savage moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sladkov drops Savage with a straight right hand, right on the button! Sladkov follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
