Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kakha Kaladze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Polidoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaladze comes to the cage accompanied by Wild Boys. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kakha Kaladze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Polidoro! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaladze takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Polidoro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kaladze manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The fight moves into the clinch position. Polidoro is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kaladze pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kaladze wants to stall.
Polidoro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kaladze tries to clinch there but Polidoro circles away.
Polidoro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kaladze is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kaladze wants to control but Polidoro is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kaladze slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Polidoro pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kaladze is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Polidoro has gone for a leg lock! Kaladze slips out almost immediately though and dives into Polidoro's guard. Kaladze is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kaladze content to stall in guard here. Polidoro seems keen to control Kaladze's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Polidoro is looking to stand up but Kaladze isn't so interested in that idea. Polidoro trying to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kaladze gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Polidoro feints and as Kaladze raises his hands in defense, Polidoro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kaladze wants to sweep but no luck. Kaladze is trying to keep Polidoro in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaladze keeping moving, preventing Polidoro from controlling successfully. Kaladze is trying to control the position but Polidoro postures up. Polidoro stopping the sweep attempt from Kaladze. Polidoro not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kakha Kaladze has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Kaladze scores with a takedown into Polidoro's guard. Kaladze is breathing heavily. Polidoro kicks Kaladze off and gets to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaladze shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Polidoro pinned against the cage. Polidoro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. He catches Kaladze napping and manages to drive through into side control! Polidoro is putting a hurting on Kaladze here, landing some big shots from side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kaladze is trying to improve his position. Polidoro has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andre Polidoro dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Polidoro goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Polidoro fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Polidoro wants to clinch and Kaladze counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Polidoro keeps control of the position for the meantime. Kaladze is trying to control. Polidoro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Polidoro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kaladze is working away from the top position though. Polidoro should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kaladze trying to control from half guard but Polidoro is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kaladze is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Polidoro is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Polidoro pushes Kaladze off looking to stand but Kaladze dives back in and keeps control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kakha Kaladze. Kaladze closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kaladze decides to stand back up. Kaladze steps back and let's Polidoro get back to his feet. Kaladze slips a straight right by Polidoro. Kaladze fails in his attempt to clinch. Polidoro fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaladze misses with a kick to the body.
Polidoro defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kaladze. Polidoro looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kaladze looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Polidoro puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Kaladze trying to control here.
Polidoro content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Kaladze tries to kick Polidoro off but Polidoro keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaladze has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Polidoro is working away from the top position though. Polidoro is looking to advance position but Kaladze won't allow it. Kaladze kicks off Polidoro and gets to his feet. Polidoro scores with a body shot.
Kaladze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Polidoro's waist but Polidoro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kaladze off to one side. A momentary lapse in concentration from Kaladze enables Polidoro to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kaladze manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Polidoro showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaladze wants to sweep but no luck. Polidoro wants to stand but Kaladze is controlling his posture from full guard. Kaladze is looking for a triangle but Polidoro pushes his legs off easily.
Polidoro throws a strike but Kaladze rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kakha Kaladze will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Polidoro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Polidoro looking to pass the guard. Polidoro has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kaladze is proving hard to escape from. Kaladze is trying to control the position but Polidoro postures up. Polidoro trying to control the position from guard on top but Kaladze is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kaladze working for a triangle but Polidoro defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Polidoro content to stall in guard here. Kaladze will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kaladze is trying to keep Polidoro in close.
Kaladze lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Polidoro!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Polidoro tries to reverse the position but Kaladze maintains control. Kaladze wants to control the pace but Polidoro is squirming around nicely. Polidoro tries to hold on but Kaladze pushes him away. Kaladze prevents Polidoro from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaladze in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kaladze cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Polidoro is just holding on here. Kaladze manages to take his back.

Polidoro remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kaladze will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Kaladze has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Polidoro! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kaladze gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
