Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armando Garcilazo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcilazo displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Garcilazo closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Garcilazo pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Garcilazo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Garcilazo to the mat! Garcilazo manages to get full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Garcilazo holds on and takes a little breather. Silva seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Silva wants to control from the top but Garcilazo keeps moving. Garcilazo is trying to keep Silva in close.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Garcilazo throws a body kick that misses. Garcilazo with a lazy takedown attempt so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Garcilazo is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
Silva controls from within his opponent's guard. Silva trying to control but Garcilazo is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garcilazo is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by David Silva. Silva fails to land the takedown. Garcilazo misses with a takedown and Silva counters with a good low kick that Garcilazo was not able to check. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armando Garcilazo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Garcilazo is breathing heavily. Silva throws a right hand that Garcilazo ducks under and follows up with a left that Garcilazo also avoids with ease. Garcilazo slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat. Garcilazo has his takedown stuffed and Silva counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Silva controlling the position from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcilazo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Silva is controlling him well. Garcilazo is not content to let Silva control the position. Silva stands up and beckons Garcilazo to his feet. Garcilazo takes a kick to the side of the head. Left hook, right uppercut from Silva. Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Garcilazo's sensitive parts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Garcilazo moves out of range easily. Silva comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into Garcilazo's guard. Silva passes into half guard. Silva works his way into side control. Silva tries for a kimura but Garcilazo is defending well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Silva tries to move to full mount but Garcilazo actually manages to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Silva dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Garcilazo gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch. Garcilazo goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Garcilazo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Silva controlling the position. Garcilazo wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Silva striking off his back but it's not causing Garcilazo any problems. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Silva is adopting a defensive guard. Garcilazo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
David Silva has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Garcilazo pinned against the cage. Garcilazo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Garcilazo drives through with a takedown into guard. Silva controls Garcilazo momentarily but Garcilazo frees himself. Silva wants to sweep here but Garcilazo controlling him for the moment. Silva pulls Garcilazo in close to prevent any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Garcilazo with a poor takedown and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Silva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Garcilazo dives on top into guard. Silva keeping moving, preventing Garcilazo from controlling successfully. Silva has his foot on Garcilazo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Garcilazo works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcilazo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Garcilazo trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Garcilazo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Garcilazo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Garcilazo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Garcilazo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. David Silva has got the better of the ground game so far. Silva trying to strike off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Silva looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Garcilazo trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Garcilazo stands up and waves to Silva to follow him. Garcilazo with a lazy takedown attempt and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armando Garcilazo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Garcilazo pushes Silva off looking to stand but Silva dives back in and keeps control.
Silva is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

It looks like Armando Garcilazo has been cut. Garcilazo throws a sloppy head kick and Silva counters with a head kick. That will keep Garcilazo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Garcilazo tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Garcilazo to the ground. Garcilazo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Garcilazo gets the takedown into side control. Silva sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silva manages to get to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Garcilazo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy. Garcilazo is fighting to break Silva's control of his arms but Silva is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Silva wants to sweep but no luck. Garcilazo trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Armando Garcilazo wasn't doing enough on the ground. Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Garcilazo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Garcilazo is trying to control but can't.
Still in half guard, Silva seems content to control. Silva trying to control from half guard but Garcilazo is working away. Garcilazo is trying to control but Silva passes into side control!
Garcilazo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Silva looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Garcilazo is avoiding damage well.
Garcilazo wants to control but Silva postures up. Silva has knee on belly and moves into mount. Garcilazo is in a horrible position here. Silva smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Silva lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Garcilazo hang on?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Garcilazo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

And that's the end of the fight! David Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
