Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Riggins Maloy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Riggins Maloy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aaron Franklin! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maloy tries for a takedown but Franklin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Maloy fails in his attempt to clinch. Maloy misses with a few strikes there.
Franklin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Maloy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Maloy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Franklin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Maloy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Franklin throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Maloy tries to clinch but Franklin moves out of range. Maloy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maloy prevents Franklin from escaping the position. Franklin tries to get to his feet but Maloy is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Franklin in his guard. Maloy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Maloy is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Franklin wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Maloy's closed guard. He's half up but Maloy has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Maloy pivots and extends the arm, Franklin falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Maloy! Well done that man!
