The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tries for a takedown but Sanchez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sanchez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sanchez is controlling him well. Jackson looks gassed! Sanchez lands a few punches from side control. Sanchez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man.
