Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Rudirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rudirez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Turbonegro "Prince Of The Rodeo" . Rodrigues has chosen Reno as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues has his takedown stuffed

and Rudirez counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Rudirez passes into side control, despite Rodrigues's attempt to control the position.
Rodrigues is trying to improve his position.
Rudirez trying to control the action but Rodrigues is working from the bottom.
Rudirez cracks Rodrigues with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Rudirez throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Rodrigues works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Rodrigues is pressing down on Rudirez's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Rodrigues wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rodrigues escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rudirez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Rodrigues has Rudirez pulled in close to control his posture.
