Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nunni Petersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Commando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Petersen.
Petersen avoids a kick to the body.
Petersen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Petersen throws a right hand that Commando ducks under and follows up with a left that Commando also avoids with ease.
Commando stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Petersen.
Petersen shoots for a double leg takedown but Commando sprawls well. He's pushed Petersen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Commando closes this distance looking for a takedown but Petersen circles away.
Petersen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Commando avoids the head kick by Petersen.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Commando has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Petersen uses from the top position.

Petersen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Commando swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Petersen presses Commando against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
