Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Oko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and adam jodrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). adam jodrey is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jodrey throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
jodrey tries to clinch up.
Oko misses with a body shot.
jodrey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
jodrey keeps the fight on the outside.
jodrey tries for a takedown but Oko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oko moves away from the strike by jodrey.

and Oko counters with an outside leg kick.
jodrey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
jodrey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
jodrey dives in and grabs Oko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oko pushes down on jodrey's head and hops out.

Oko drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

and jodrey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

jodrey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

I've got jodrey winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
