The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutierrez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Firpo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gutierrez is looking to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Firpo.
Gutierrez has managed to clinch.
Firpo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Firpo wants to break free but Gutierrez has control.
Gutierrez tries to stall but Firpo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gutierrez keeps control of Firpo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Firpo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Firpo misses with a few strikes there.
Firpo drops Gutierrez with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Gutierrez! Firpo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
