Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chihiro Ogino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ogino shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Ogino scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Alves bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Alves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ogino manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Ogino shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ogino showed some decent athleticism there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ogino accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ogino postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Alves in real trouble here! The ref calls for Alves to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
