Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges St Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Georges St Penn struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Penn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Harper lands a slapping body shot.

A jab-cross combination lands for Harper and sends St Penn crashing to the mat! Harper follows him down to the mat - St Penn regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Harper tries to pass to full mount but St Penn defends it.
St Penn wants to control but Harper is keeping busy.

Harper pulls St Penn in close to his closed guard and prevents St Penn from doing any damage or advancing position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
St Penn tries for a takedown but Harper sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Harper connects with a nice looking jab.

Harper fails to land with a series of punches.
St Penn seems to have recovered his senses.
Harper throws a combination. St Penn tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Harper connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent St Penn tumbling to the canvas! Harper pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! St Penn was done - good stoppage!
