Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wes Wolfen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wes Wolfen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick James!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from James.
Wolfen throws an off balance right hand
and James counters with a stiff right hand.
Wolfen lands a slapping body shot.
A shot to the liver by James. Beautiful body shot.
Wolfen throws the left hand but James avoids the punch easily.
Wolfen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
James takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Wolfen lands with a nice combination. James backs away looking to recover.
James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wolfen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wolfen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wolfen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Wolfen misses the target.

James stuns Wolfen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
James throws a front kick aimed at Wolfen's knee but Wolfen avoids it well.
James scores with a shot to the body.
James dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
James takes a swing at Wolfen's ribcage but misses.
Wolfen tries to bum rush James with a series of wild strikes but James uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wes Wolfen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Wolfen counters with a left and a right that stings James.

James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wolfen.
Wolfen throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
James moves out of range as Wolfen strikes.
James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
James ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
James uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wolfen.
James swats away the attempt to clinch by Wolfen.

James throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wolfen slips a jab and a cross from James.

James lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wolfen is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wolfen. James does a little dance to reset his feet.
James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and James counters with a body kick.
Wolfen throws a hook but James blocks it.
James connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

James's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

James circles away from the clinch attempt
and James counters with an outside leg kick.
James misses with a double jab.
Wolfen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
James tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That was a close second round but I would say that Wes Wolfen will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
