Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Jenk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kent Jenk! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenk takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sloppy strikes from James. Those never looked like landing. James scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Jenk looks to land a combination but James avoids it well. Jenk throws the left hand but James avoids the punch easily. James loads up on a big right hand but Jenk slips the punch. Jimmy James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James lands with a nice body punch. James misses with a low kick.
James scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. James scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. James wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. James throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jenk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jenk sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. James defending well though. James blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jenk.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenk trying to mount his opponent but James defends it. James keeping control of the position. Jenk not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. James wants to control the action here but instead Jenk manages to pass to full mount! James tries to lock up and control but Jenk gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jenk scoring with strikes but James is staying in there. Jenk raining down hammerfists from mount. Jenk throwing strikes but James uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenk wants to take a breather but James is having none of it. James moves into full guard.
Jenk trying to control but James is working from the bottom. Jenk looking to pass the guard. James throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jenk escapes and throws James's legs to the side, diving into side control! Jenk is trying to move to mount but James reverses beautifully and ends up in Jenk's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenk keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully. James stopping the sweep attempt from Jenk. Jenk manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. James manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. James bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jenk's guard. James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenk swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jenk not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
James is pushing down on Jenk's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jenk is fighting to maintain full guard but James has managed to sneak the leg through. James is looking for a kimura but Jenk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for James to get the leverage. James is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jenk is just riding it out for now. James eventually gives up the hold. Jenk is staying active underneath James, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jimmy James will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

James lands a nice hook to Jenk's body. Jenk takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. James connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. James misses with a hook
and Jenk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. James checks a low kick from Jenk. Kent Jenk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jenk throws a looping overhand right but James ducks down to avoid it. No joy there for James, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round. James shoots and misses and Jenk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. James misses with an attempted mid kick.
James misses with a shot to the body and Jenk counters with a three punch combo that has James backing up. James nods at Jenk to acknowledge the strikes. James on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. James has his takedown stuffed and Jenk counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for James! James blocking the ground and pound. Jenk controlling the pace for now. Jenk landing strikes from the mount and James is in trouble! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Jenk jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… James is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by James and Jenk has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Jenk misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

You can see the frustration on James's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jenk throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Jenk in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenk creates some space and throws a big elbow, but James sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Jenk controls the position. Jenk laying and praying for a moment but James takes advantage and regains half guard. Jenk not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kent Jenk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Oh, that's unlucky for James but great work by Jenk. Jenk wants to control but James is keeping him busy. James regains half guard. James works his way to full guard. Good work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jenk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. James looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
James has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jenk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Jenk tries to free his leg and advance position but James is retaining full guard. Jenk postures up in James's guard and throws a big left but James blocks it. James keeping moving, preventing Jenk from controlling successfully. Jenk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jenk throws a big right hand that misses. James tries to land a sweep but no joy. James keeping full guard, as Jenk tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jenk with a flurry of punches that miss. James lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jenk! Jenk is squirming around, avoiding James's attempts to control the action. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. James is really struggling to control Jenk but he's trying to hold on to the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy James showed his dominance in that final round. I think James has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
