Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Didiero Drogbah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taeko Yataki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yataki is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jingle bells. The key to victory for Didiero Drogbah has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yataki gets the takedown into side control.
Drogbah tries to bench press Yataki off him but Yataki keeps the position.

Yataki working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Drogbah is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Yataki off and has taken his back!

Drogbah stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Drogbah fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yataki manages to avoid it.
Yataki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yataki is defended easily by Drogbah.

Yataki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drogbah's waist but Drogbah gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yataki off to one side.

Yataki is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Drogbah to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Drogbah shrugs it off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
