Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kain has chosen Irresponsible Hate Anthem as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Ellison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Kain!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellison throws a nice looking combination but Kain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Anthony Ellison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kain prevents Ellison from breaking the clinch.
Ellison tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kain will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ellison up against the cage.
Ellison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kain scores with a head kick. Ellison tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Ellison lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Ellison on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Kain tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ellison's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kain doesn't manage to clinch there - Ellison circles away.
Ellison misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kain shoots in looking for a takedown but Ellison manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kain forces Ellison back against the cage and clinches.
Kain misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ellison.

Ellison is trying to force a seperation but Kain has the dominant position.

A frustrated look appears on Kain's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Ellison is pushing down on Kain's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kain is fighting to maintain full guard but Ellison has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kain wants to improve his position but Ellison is controlling well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ellison fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kain sprawls well initially but Ellison persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ellison wants to get up but he can't break Kain's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ellison looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kain with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Anthony Ellison will probably get the nod.
