The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shockner bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bastilla has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bastilla is fighting off a takedown attempt but Shockner is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bastilla to the mat. Bastilla regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Bastilla will probably get the nod.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bastilla holds on and takes a little breather.
Shockner wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bastilla's closed guard. He's half up but Bastilla has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bastilla pivots and extends the arm, Shockner falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bastilla! Well done that man!
