PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sad The Superhuman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Petrac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Superhuman's entrance music is Thunderstruck. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Superhuman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Petrac.
Petrac misses with a head kick.

Petrac darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Petrac tries to stand but can't do so whilst The Superhuman controls his leg.

The Superhuman kicks off Petrac and gets to his feet.
Petrac should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Petrac tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Petrac will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Petrac shoots in but The Superhuman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sad The Superhuman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Petrac.

The Superhuman shoots in and gets a takedown into Petrac's guard.
The Superhuman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Petrac really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Superhuman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, The Superhuman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Superhuman is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Petrac can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The Superhuman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Petrac's face.
Petrac is looking to improve his position but The Superhuman isn't that keen on the idea.

The Superhuman jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Petrac manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Petrac takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The Superhuman landing strikes.

The Superhuman has hold of Petrac's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Petrac seems comfortable defending it but The Superhuman has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Petrac is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Petrac is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but The Superhuman couldn't care less - he's delighted!
