Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Marston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Clark Kent was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent gets the takedown into side control. Kent tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kent has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kent working away. Kent is trying to get an arm triangle but Marston is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marston is not content to let Kent control the position. Kent wants to pass to mount but Marston is defending the position. Marston tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Marston flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kent is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marston is just riding it out for now. Kent eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nice strikes from Kent there. Kent sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Marston defending well though. Kent in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Marston tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kent!
