Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Da Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Clay!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva dodges the punch combination from Clay.
David Da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by Clay.
Clay swinging wildly here.
Da Silva goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Da Silva.
A big right from Da Silva misses.
Da Silva throws a wild body kick that Clay sees coming a mile off.
Da Silva throws a big shot that misses.
Clay thows a left - swing and a miss!
Clay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Clay looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Da Silva has taken the fight to the clinch.
Da Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Da Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Clay paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Da Silva connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Da Silva rushes Clay and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Clay wants to break the clinch but can't.
Clay wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Da Silva lands an elbow just above Clay 's eye.
It looks like Andrew Clay has been cut.
Da Silva creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Clay's defenses.
Da Silva landing knees to the body.
A bit of stalling here from Da Silva.
Clay wants to stall.
Clay tries to break the clinch but Da Silva is controlling the position.
A frustrated look appears on Clay's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Da Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Clay moves out of range of the body kick from Da Silva.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Da Silva.
Clay looks gassed!
Da Silva throws a sloppy body shot
and Clay connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Da Silva instigates a clinch.
Clay's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Da Silva lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Clay or not.
Clay has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clay is trying to break the clinch but Da Silva has him pressed against the cage.
Da Silva lands a knee to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Da Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Clay has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Da Silva.
Da Silva lands with an uppercut that bounces Clay off the cage and back into rage.
Da Silva thows a body shot but no joy.
Da Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Da Silva batters Clay with a massive right followed by a huge left! Clay is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Da Silva lands a final crushing right hand to drop Clay to the mat with a gruesome thud! Da Silva is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). David Da Silva!
