Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rolf Kross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes has chosen Red Right Hand - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Barnes misses with a wild combination.
Kross throws a right and a left that Barnes avoids nicely.
Barnes throws a good cross that connects.
Kross defending well as Barnes loads up on a big left hand.
Barnes lands a nice hook to Kross's body. Kross takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kross throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barnes's waist but Barnes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kross off to one side.

Kross throws a leg kick that misses.
Barnes fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kross closes the distance and clinches up with Barnes, looking for a takedown. Kross pushes Barnes against the cage but Barnes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on Barnes - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Kross has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Barnes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rolf Kross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kross takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kross is working for takedown but Barnes is calmly controlling the position for now.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Kross get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Kross stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Barnes runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
