The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie throws a sloppy head kick and Nikiten moves out of range easily.

McKenzie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McKenzie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McKenzie is looking to slow Nikiten down with leg kicks.
Nikiten shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McKenzie but McKenzie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nikiten lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McKenzie circles away quickly and effectively.
Nikiten throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McKenzie throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Nikiten is breathing heavily.
McKenzie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McKenzie forces Nikiten back against the cage and clinches.
McKenzie pushes Nikiten back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, McKenzie scores with a nice short uppercut.
McKenzie lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Nikiten tries to break free but McKenzie pushes him back against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, McKenzie creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nikiten is rocked!

McKenzie lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nikiten backwards.
McKenzie creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Nikiten with a big uppercut! Nikiten tries to clinch up but McKenzie pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Nikiten to the mat! Nikiten covers up and McKenzie unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
