The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hardy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Hardy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Gracie is standing up over Hardy. Hardy looks to escape but Gracie dives into side control.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hardy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Gracie feints and as Hardy raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Sean Gracie just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hardy wants to get back to his feet but Gracie drags him back down.
Gracie misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

You get the feeling that Hardy really doesn't like being in this position too much.
