Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Junk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kichiro Takaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takaki has chosen Kagaya, Shu, Takaki - Alexey Rybnikov as his entrance music. Kichiro Takaki acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Junk! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kichiro Takaki! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takaki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Takaki fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Junk is out of range. Takaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Junk darts in trying to clinch and Takaki counters with a nice uppercut. Takaki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Junk falls off balance throwing a combination
and Takaki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Takaki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Junk connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Takaki scrambles back to his feet. Takaki misses with a jab to the body
and Junk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Takaki misses with a hook
enabling Junk to counter with a crisp jab. A solid body kick from Takaki. Takaki connects with a solid leg kick. Takaki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Junk wants to clinch up but Takaki keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. A leg kick checked by Junk. Junk misses with a wild body shot. Takaki throws a lazy right hand but Junk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Junk takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A punch combination from Takaki misses. An inside leg kick lands from Takaki. Junk throws a shot from downtown. Takaki moves away and avoids it. Takaki avoids the body shot from Junk.

Junk slips a jab from Takaki. Takaki connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Takaki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Junk's head backwards. Takaki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Takaki scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A leg kick checked by Junk. Junk connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Takaki momentarily.
Junk fails in his attempt to clinch. Takaki throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Junk. Junk tries to clinch but Takaki moves out of range. Takaki with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
This has been an exciting period of action! Takaki throws a leg kick that misses. Junk misses with a hook. Junk keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Takaki. Takaki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Takaki misses with a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Takaki does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A punch combination from Junk misses. Junk moves out of range of the leg kick from Takaki. Junk tries to clinch up but Takaki circles away and keeps his distance. Takaki throws a jab but it's blocked by Junk. Takaki misses with an uppercut
and Junk counters with a nice body shot. Junk tries to clinch up. Takaki scoring well with a low kick there.

and Junk counters with a lovely straight right hand! Takaki throws a chopping leg kick but Junk manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Takaki pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Junk checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Junk misses with a wild body shot. Junk takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Junk moves out of range of the body kick from Takaki.
Nice jab there from Takaki. Junk is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Takaki looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Takaki moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Takaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Takaki throws a nice inside leg kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Junk instigates a clinch. Takaki breaks the clinch.
The crowd cheers as Takaki lands an impressive looking overhand right. Junk doesn't seem phased though. Takaki walks into a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kichiro Takaki dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Takaki tries a low kick but Junk avoids it. Takaki throws a sloppy head kick and Junk moves out of range easily. Junk takes a swing at Takaki's ribcage but misses. Takaki fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Junk checks it well. Takaki connects with the punch. Takaki slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Junk moves out of range of the body kick. Junk checks a low kick from Takaki. Takaki misses with a body kick. Takaki misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takaki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Junk moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Junk tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junk lands a glancing blow to the side of Takaki's head. Junk checks the leg kick. Some bone on bone action there as Junk checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. The crowd cheers as Takaki lands an impressive looking overhand right. Junk doesn't seem phased though. A looping hook to the body misses from Takaki. Junk does a little dance to reset his feet. Junk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Decent striking displayed by Takaki there. Takaki lands a head kick!
Takaki tries to land a front kick but Junk steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Junk lands with a right hand. Junk tries to clinch up and Takaki counters with a thumping low kick. Jack Junk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Junk tries to clinch and Takaki makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Junk really felt that one! Junk has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Takaki. Takaki has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Junk swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Takaki throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Takaki pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Junk tries to clinch but Takaki moves away and Takaki counters with a solid body kick. This has been an exciting period of action! A bone on bone clash there as Junk blocks the leg kick.

and Takaki counters with a slapping leg kick. Takaki tries to work over Junk's front leg with a kick but Junk checks it. Good exchange - Takaki coming out on top. Takaki pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Takaki misses with a hook
and Junk counters with a stiff right hand. A leg kick checked by Junk. Junk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takaki moves away. Junk tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Takaki counter with a right hand. Takaki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Takaki tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Junk is able to avoid easily. Junk tries to clinch but Takaki moves out of range.

and Junk counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Takaki thinking. Takaki has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Junk finds it's way round the side to connect with Takaki's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kichiro Takaki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A shot to the body from Takaki misses and Junk counters with a right hand to the body. Takaki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Junk getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Takaki has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Takaki gets tackled into the cage by Junk. Junk maintains the clinch. Junk looking to stall.
Takaki has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Takaki circles away from the clinch attempt and Takaki makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Junk looks to score with a jab to the body but Takaki is just out of range. Takaki explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Takaki tries to score with a low kick but Junk moves his leg out of the way. Junk is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice shot lands for Takaki. The fight stays on the outside here - Junk looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Takaki throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Takaki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Junk checks a leg kick. Takaki lands with a kick to the ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Takaki lets loose with a powerful body kick. Junk will feel that in the morning. Kichiro Takaki seems to be getting the better of the standup. Takaki lands with a nice body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takaki fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Takaki with a hook. Takaki slips under a jab. Takaki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kichiro Takaki is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A big left from Takaki misses. The fighters circle momentarily. Takaki darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. No joy there for Junk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Junk misses with a right hand and Takaki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Takaki throws a hook but Junk avoids it easily. Junk checks a leg kick nicely. Takaki cracks the inside of Junk's front leg. Takaki scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Junk lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jack Junk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that's the end of the fight! Kichiro Takaki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Takaki winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
