Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vince Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noir comes to the cage accompanied by Dance Hall Days. Dent has chosen Samuel Peter - WHO NECKS?! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vince Noir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arthur Dent!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noir looks to land a left hand but Dent moved out of range nicely.
The crowd cheers as Noir lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dent doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Arthur Dent has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Noir.
Dent takes a swing at Noir's ribcage but misses.
Dent looks to land a combination. Noir sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Noir lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and Noir counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Noir looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dent with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dent is breathing heavily.

Dent is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Noir scores with a couple of nice shots.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Dent throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Noir's waist but Noir gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dent off to one side.

Noir dives in and grabs Dent's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dent pushes down on Noir's head and hops out.
