Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jethro Walrustitty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chubbs Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walrustitty's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Fish Slapping Dance. Chubbs Peterson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jethro Walrustitty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chubbs Peterson! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson cracks a nice hook into Walrustitty's ribs. Chubbs Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walrustitty looks for a takedown but Peterson sprawls well. A nice combination there by Peterson.
Peterson throws a right and a left that Walrustitty avoids nicely. Peterson avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Walrustitty ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Peterson tries to bum rush Walrustitty with a series of wild strikes but Walrustitty uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Peterson throws a body punch but Walrustitty moves out of range. Peterson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Peterson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson stalks Walrustitty and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Walrustitty's face. Walrustitty staggers backwards, shaken. Walrustitty ducks under a wild hook from Peterson. Peterson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Walrustitty stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Peterson misses with a wild body shot. Peterson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Walrustitty rather than just go for the knockout. Peterson throws a hook to the side of Walrustitty's head but Walrustitty sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Peterson misses with a hook. Walrustitty ducked under it nicely. Peterson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walrustitty was well out of range. Poor timing from Peterson. Peterson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Peterson scores with a jab to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Walrustitty.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Peterson cracks Walrustitty with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Walrustitty shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Walrustitty was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Walrustitty looking to finish with strikes here!
Peterson wants to control but Walrustitty is having none of it. Walrustitty is working for a guillotine from mount but Peterson frees his head quite easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peterson is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peterson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Peterson tries to lock up and control but Walrustitty gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Peterson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Walrustitty. Peterson wants to hold on but Walrustitty pushes him away. Peterson tries to buck Walrustitty off but he can't manage it. Peterson tries to lock up and control but Walrustitty gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Walrustitty working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Walrustitty wants to control the pace but Peterson is squirming around nicely. Walrustitty looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Peterson tries to improve his position but instead Walrustitty has taken his back! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walrustitty is looking for the choke from the back position but Peterson is controlling his hands well. Peterson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chubbs Peterson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Walrustitty uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Peterson. Walrustitty buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Walrustitty looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Peterson misses with a body shot.
Walrustitty fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walrustitty moves out of range of the strikes. Walrustitty uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peterson.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Peterson misses. Walrustitty slips a jab and a cross from Peterson.
Peterson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walrustitty. Walrustitty feints and as Peterson raises his hands in defense, Walrustitty changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Walrustitty trying to control the position from guard on top but Peterson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Walrustitty stands and throws Peterson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Walrustitty working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Walrustitty misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson is looking to regain half guard here but Walrustitty keeps moving and retains side control. Walrustitty is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Peterson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Peterson is trying to buck Walrustitty off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walrustitty throws a strike aimed at the side of Peterson's head but Peterson avoids it well. Walrustitty is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Peterson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Peterson tries to improve position but can't. Peterson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walrustitty. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Walrustitty lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Peterson down.
Peterson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Walrustitty. Walrustitty is trying to get an arm triangle but Peterson is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Walrustitty working away. Walrustitty wants to control but Peterson is keeping him busy. Walrustitty advances nicely into full mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Peterson is trying to escape the mount.
Walrustitty is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Peterson is forced to tap! Great finish!
