Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sim Polls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pencil Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neck comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rolling Stones - Paint it black kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pencil Neck has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neck lands with a nice body kick.
Neck is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Neck will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Neck shoots in but Polls avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Neck looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sim Polls has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pencil Neck.

Polls sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Neck's guard.
Neck is in trouble now - Polls has advanced to mount!

Neck is squirming around, avoiding Polls's attempts to control the action.
Polls postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Neck looks a forlorn figure.

Polls lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Neck hang on?
Neck looks gassed!
Polls connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Polls with a couple of short strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Neck wants to hold on but Polls pushes him away.
Neck is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Polls is staying active.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Polls wants to control from the top but Neck keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Polls pushes down on Neck's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Neck is breathing heavily.

Polls uses his free foot to push down on Neck's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Neck.
Neck is desperately trying to improve his position but Polls has a good base and remains in mount.
