Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glen Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Glen Knox! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Winston Steel! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knox misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Steel throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Knox misses with a series of wild punches.
Steel walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Knox checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Knox tries to bum rush Steel with a series of wild strikes but Steel uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Steel misses with a looping right. Steel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knox was well out of range. Poor timing from Steel. Steel misses with a double jab.
Steel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knox. Knox throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Steel to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Glen Knox has been cut. Steel swings for the body but Knox moves out of range.
Knox throws a nice looking combination but Steel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Knox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Steel shoots in looking for a takedown. Knox tries to sprawl out of it but Steel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Knox manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Steel moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Knox throws a left and a right that both miss
and Steel counters with a head kick that drops Knox to the mat! Knox scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Knox is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Steel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Knox.
Knox pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Knox throws a left and a right that both miss
and Steel counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Winston Steel! Winston Steel is the new welterweight champion!
