The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ronaldo is trying to defend but Falcon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Falcon passes the guard and advances to mount!
Falcon has hold of Ronaldo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ronaldo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ronaldo is trying to escape the mount.
Falcon looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Falcon wants to control the pace but Ronaldo is squirming around nicely.
Ronaldo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ronaldo tries to lock up and control but Falcon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Falcon has control of Ronaldo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ronaldo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ronaldo has given up his back here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Falcon has managed to slip his arm under Ronaldo's chin. This could be all over... yep, Ronaldo is tapping out! Submission win for Falcon.
