Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Plyako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Get out of my way. Patrick Diaz has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Patrick Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrey Plyako!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz clinches.
Plyako looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Diaz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Plyako uses from the top position.
Diaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Diaz has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Plyako off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Diaz misses with a series of wild punches.
Diaz punishes Plyako's body with a nice straight punch.
Plyako gets caught flat footed, as Diaz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Diaz passes into half guard.
Diaz stands up from half guard.
Diaz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Plyako manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Plyako is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Diaz drops back looking for a leg! Plyako is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Plyako manages to kick Diaz off! Diaz jumps back into Plyako's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Diaz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Plyako's guard.
Diaz decides to stand up.
Diaz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A shot to the liver by Diaz. Beautiful body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Diaz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Plyako. No joy for Diaz on that attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Diaz.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Plyako is fending him off so far but Diaz persists. Nope, Plyako circles away and we're back to standing.
Diaz drives through with a takedown into guard.
Diaz gets to his feet - Plyako follows without any prompting.
Diaz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Diaz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Plyako quickly recovers to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz wants to work for an arm triangle but Plyako is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Diaz stops Plyako from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Diaz is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Diaz is trying to work for a kimura but Plyako is defending well.
Plyako is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Diaz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Diaz in particular looking to stall.
Diaz trying to control from half guard but Plyako is working away.
Diaz passes to full mount!
Diaz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Plyako defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Diaz.
Diaz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Plyako can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Patrick Diaz dominated that round.
That's time! Diaz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Plyako displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Diaz.
Diaz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Plyako tries to keep at a distance but Diaz has taken the fight into the clinch.
Diaz pulls Plyako into guard.
Diaz manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Diaz throws a one two combo.
It looks like Andrey Plyako has been cut.
Diaz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Plyakos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Diaz lands a right hook to the body.
Diaz looks to land a combination but Plyako avoids it well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Plyako takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz tries to clinch but Plyako is having none of it.
Diaz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Diaz frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Diaz working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Plyako turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Diaz off and cradles Plyako's limp body as Diaz celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Patrick Diaz!
