Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowron swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bowron wants to stand up but Marquez is controlling him.

I looks like Marquez might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Bowron misses with a takedown attempt - Marquez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bowron uses his free foot to push down on Marquez's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Marquez.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bowron, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
