Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kakaroto Sayajin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sayajin's choice of entrance music: Riot - Three Days Grace. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Nogueira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kakaroto Sayajin! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nogueira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sayajin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nogueira circles away. Sayajin looks to land a combination. Nogueira sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Rodrigo Nogueira has been cut. Nogueira scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Sayajin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nogueira as he jumps to the side. Nogueira connects with a high kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nogueira fails with a takedown attempt. Sayajin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nogueira as he avoids it easily. Rodrigo Nogueira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kakaroto Sayajin. Sayajin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sayajin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nogueira stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nogueira is breathing heavily. Sayajin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nogueira pinned against the cage. Nogueira gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nogueira throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nogueira tries to clinch up. Nogueira tries a head kick but it misses.
Nogueira leaves Sayajin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sayajin takes the fight into the clinch. Sayajin keeps control of Nogueira as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nogueira is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sayajin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sayajin - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

No luck for Sayajin with that takedown attempt. Nogueira tries a head kick but it misses.
Sayajin shoots in and drives through. Nogueira sprawls well. Sayajin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Nogueira stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nogueira wants it to stay on the feet. Sayajin gets a clinch. Nogueira is trying to break the clinch but Sayajin has him pressed against the cage. Sayajin has Nogueira pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Nogueira manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Nogueira can't break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sayajin keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nogueira's efforts to push away. Sayajin jumps into guard, dragging Nogueira to the mat.
Nogueira trying to control the position from guard on top but Sayajin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sayajin wants to sweep but no luck. Sayajin will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Sayajin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nogueira can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nogueira stopping the sweep attempt from Sayajin. Sayajin has an active guard here but Nogueira has managed to pass into half guard.
Nogueira is trying to control the action in half guard but Sayajin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nogueira sitting and controlling from the half guard. Sayajin is staying active underneath Nogueira, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sayajin trying to control from the bottom.
Nogueira looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Sayajin tries to get to full guard but Nogueira has control of the leg. Sayajin actively working from the bottom here. Nogueira is trying to control the action in half guard but Sayajin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sayajin trying to hold on to Nogueira's head to control him but Nogueira postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nogueira winds up and cracks Sayajin with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sayajin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nogueira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nogueira prevents Sayajin from improving his position. Sayajin actively working from the bottom here. Nogueira scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Nogueira seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Nogueira in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sayajin tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nogueira!
