Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hatori Kazuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Three Days Grace (Riot). Hatori Kazuma looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Kazuma pushes him off.

Kazuma has closed the distance and engaged Silva in a clinch.
Kazuma scores with a shoulder strike.
Kazuma landing knees to the head.

Silva drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kazuma gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kazuma using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Silva has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kazuma controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kazuma decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kazuma.

and Kazuma counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

and Kazuma counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva!
Silva wants to hold on but Kazuma pushes him away.
Kazuma looking to control but Silva is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Silva reaches up to try and control the position but Kazuma seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Silva rolls and tries to escape and now Kazuma has his back!

Kazuma has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Silva has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kazuma doesn't have the hooks in and Silva manages to turn into his guard.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kazuma swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We're going to have a standup here because Carlos Silva wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Silva lands a big head kick that sends Kazuma tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves Kazuma back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Hatori Kazuma has been cut.
Kazuma leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kazuma is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Kazuma circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kazuma swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hatori Kazuma has got the better of the ground game so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kazuma tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kazuma to the ground. Kazuma escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Kazuma.

Silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kazuma walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kazuma shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Kazuma's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Silva is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Silva wants to control but Kazuma is having none of it.
