Liukkonen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slash as he jumps to the side.

Slash throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Liukkonen.

Liukkonen shoots in looking for a takedown. Slash tries to sprawl out of it but Liukkonen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Liukkonen shoots in looking for a takedown but Slash manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Liukkonen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Slash is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Liukkonen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Slash looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slash has hold of Liukkonen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Liukkonen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Slash postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Liukkonen badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Slash around the waist but Slash pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Slash is the winner by TKO! Slash jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
