The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hatfield pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hatfield uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Venture.
Hatfield thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hatfield throws a sloppy head kick and Venture moves out of range easily.
Venture misses the jab.
Venture throws a jab but it's blocked by Hatfield.

and Venture counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Venture not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Venture passes Hatfield's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Venture frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hatfield tries to lock up and control but Venture gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hatfield keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Venture lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Venture connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Hatfield wants to hold on but Venture pushes him away.

Venture lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hatfield hang on?

Hatfield takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Venture's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
