Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richard Okusaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Wall!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wall moves in looking to clinch but Okusaka pushes him off.
Okusaka gets the takedown into side control.
Okusaka controls the position.
You can see the frustration on Wall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Wall is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Okusaka is staying active.
Okusaka content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Wall is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Okusaka is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Okusaka moves to the back.
Okusaka has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Wall is defending well but eventually Okusaka manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Wall has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
