Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Art Vandelay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiger Mask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mask has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Art Vandelay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tiger Mask! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vandelay takes one on the button. Vandelay looks to score with a jab to the body but Mask is just out of range. Vandelay misses with a two punch combination.
The fighters circling - Mask throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mask swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vandelay slaps away a takedown attempt from Mask, before circling back to the center of the mat. Vandelay throws a hook but Mask blocks it. Mask throws a shot to the body.
Vandelay rushes Mask and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A right hand to the body from Mask.
Mask digs a right hand underneath Vandelay's ribcage. Vandelay let out a lung full of air as it connected. Vandelay misses with some punches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vandelay. Mask throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Mask blocks a body shot from Vandelay. Mask stalls. A left hand lands to the body for Mask.

That's one minute gone in the round. Vandelay can't find room to land a body shot as Mask controls the action.
Vandelay misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Mask is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Vandelay gets underhooks to prevent Mask's takedown attempt.
Mask looking for a takedown. Art Vandelay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tiger Mask. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vandelay. A frustrated look appears on Mask's face as he tries to break the clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Mask. Mask cracks Vandelay with a nice body shot. Vandelay is breathing heavily. Vandelay lands with a left to the head. A body shot lands from Mask.
Vandelay misses with a short punch on the inside. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Mask. Vandelay stops a takedown attempt from Mask.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Mask. Vandelay misses with a hook to the ribs.
Vandelay lands with a short shot to the head. Mask blocking some punches.
Mask escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vandelay throws a jab when Mask was well out of range. A jab from Mask finds it's way through Vandelay's defenses. Vandelay tries to clinch there but Mask circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Mask misses. Mask avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Mask moves into range and connects with a jab. Mask lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vandelay at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vandelay misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vandelay tries to clinch up. Mask lands a jab to Vandelay's midsection. Mask gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Vandelay working aggressively here.
Mask manages to break the clinch.
Art Vandelay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vandelay throws a combination that misses and Vandelay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Vandelay throws the left hand but Mask avoids the punch easily. Mask gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vandelay closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mask lands a right hook to the body.
Vandelay throws a leg kick that misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Mask. Vandelay does a little dance to reset his feet. Vandelay looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Mask throws a right and a left that both miss. Vandelay looks to clinch and Mask counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mask tries to clinch but Vandelay moves out of range. Vandelay wants to clinch but Mask slips to the side and Mask makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A cross from Mask lands.
Vandelay is rocked!
It looks like Art Vandelay has been cut. Sloppy strikes from Vandelay. Those never looked like landing. Oh Vandelay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Vandelay walks straight into a right hand from Mask - that's dropped him! Mask jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Vandelay from any more punishment! Vandelay complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
