Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kirill Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Jarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Jarov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kirill Stein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Jarov! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jarov misses with a double jab.
Stein could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Stein closes the distance and clinches up with Jarov, looking for a takedown. Stein pushes Jarov against the cage but Jarov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jarov tries for a takedown but Stein circles away easily and Stein counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stein is looking to take a break and control but Jarov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jarov trying to control but Stein postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jarov wants to sweep but Stein has passed to side control! Jarov sneaks back into half guard. Jarov is looking to control Stein's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jarov avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stein thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jarov to regain full guard. Jarov wants to sweep here but Stein controlling him for the moment. Stein trying to control but Jarov is working from the bottom. Jarov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stein pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jarov is keeping the position for now. Stein has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jarov is proving hard to escape from. Stein trying to control but Jarov is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Kirill Stein just wasn't active enough. Jarov misses with a takedown and Stein counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jarov won't be happy with that. Jarov gets back to half guard. Stein tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Stein trying to control the action but Jarov is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kirill Stein dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jarov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Stein counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Stein seems content to control. Stein tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jarov controls his leg. Stein trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Stein is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Stein prevents Jarov from improving his position. Jarov wants to control but Stein is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kirill Stein has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Stein drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Stein preventing the sweep. Stein wants to stand but Jarov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stein postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jarov keeping moving, preventing Stein from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kirill Stein wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jarov tries for a takedown but Stein circles away easily and Stein counters with a takedown into side control. Stein stands up and beckons Jarov to his feet. Jarov misses with a takedown and Stein counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stein. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kirill Stein dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Jarov has his takedown stuffed and Stein decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jarov's guard. Stein has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jarov is proving hard to escape from. Jarov keeping moving, preventing Stein from controlling successfully. Stein works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stein stands up from half guard. Jarov throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stein closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stein lands in his opponent's guard. Jarov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jarov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jarov working a defensive guard but Stein manages to pass into side control anyway.
Jarov is letting Stein control him for a moment. Jarov is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jarov takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Stein decides to stand back up. Stein steps back and let's Jarov get back to his feet. Stein bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Stein wants to stand but Jarov has his arm trapped.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stein fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Stein decides to take the fight back to the feet. Stein closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stein lands in his opponent's guard. Peter Jarov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kirill Stein is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stein looking to pass the guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kirill Stein showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stein, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
