Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Riley Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Morningstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel comes to the cage accompanied by Red Hot Chili Peppers - Don't Forget Me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devin Morningstar! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Morningstar is looking to control Daniel's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morningstar avoid being mounted? Morningstar misses with some strikes from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniel slips a nice elbow through Morningstar's hands, connecting with Morningstar's forehead. Daniel scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Morningstar slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Daniel controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Daniel has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Daniel postures up.
Daniel is posturing up here but Morningstar has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Daniel tries to roll out but it's too tight and Daniel has to tap! Slick submission there by Morningstar!
